It is with great sadness that the Club has learnt of the passing of first team coach Peter Thompsons mother. Peters mother would often be seen at Crusaders games both home and away beside his father before illness meant she could not attend as they both supported their son and the Club he works tirelessy for.
Ronnie Millar on hearing of the passing said “On behalf of Crusaders Football Club can I offer Peter and his family circle our deepest sympathies and condolences of the passing of their mother. and also to his father, who attends the games, on the passing of his wife. Up until recently Peters mum would have been at all the games with his father and it was lovely too see how much she enjoyed attending and supporting what her son was part of. Can I ask we keep Peter and the family in our thoughts and prayers over the next days, weeks and months”
