As the season end closes in Crusaders and Coleraine play in the penultimate game of the Sports Direct Premiership at Seaview (3pm) hoping to stay as far up the table as possible to ensure home advantage come the play offs in May that could lead to a European place in next seasons Conference League Qualifiers. The stakes are high with only a point seperating them and what a game is in prospect.
The team will know they let themselves down last week in defeat to Glentoran and will be up to changing that against Coleraine. Everyone who has a knock or niggle will be assessed before manager Declan Caddell names his team but he will be without Jordan Stewart and Stewart Nixon through suspension and Jacob Blaney and Harry Jewitt-White who are injured. Ross Clarke could be fit enough to return to the starting line up and with Lloyd Anderson and Josh O'Connor scoring five goals between them in last Monday nights reserves game their inclusion could prove invaluable if selected. Everyone picked will play their part in such an important game
Coleraine will be looking the best position in the play offs also to please their new owner and Dean Shiels will have his team pushing for such a result. Defeat last week put them behind like Crusaders in the race for play off positions so the team picked will be out to turn it around again. They play CXhampions Linfield in the final game so this game will be important to get points on the table. Players to watch are Lyndon Kane and Matthew Shevlin while the emergence of Declan McManus will also need to be watched closely.
So we are all set for another massive game at Seaview that could go a long way in the next few months. Your support as always is needed and with you as the 12th man on the stands we can get the result needed. Tickets can be bought at www.crusadersfc.com anytime, from Harry D's up to 1pm on Saturday and then from the Ticket Office in the McDonald Centre from 1.30pm to kick off. Get yourself to Seaview and get behind Declan and the team as we finish the season strongly. C'mon the Crues.
